| Position Responsibilities: |
Multi-divisional business with manufacturing and distribution operations on 4 continents is seeking a financial reporting/consolidations professional to support all business segments as it relates to IT. This is a center stage role reporting to the Director of Accounting
•OPPORTUNITY: Report to Director and interface with Assistant Controller, Controller, business unit Controllers, and global operational groups. Become a team member that drives the global process of 50+ business units. Support a WW consolidation, analyze results, performance trending and business performance.
• Collaborate with SBU Controllers, SEC reporting, FP&A, treasury and tax to consolidate the financial statements. Focus is on process improvement!!!
• Utilize technology to enhance and improve all facets of the process.
• To own, manage and develop a sub process of the consolidation.
• Manage the consolidations and information gathering process for all subsidiaries.
• Support Regional Controllers. Learn the business by product and regions. Provide accurate results.
• Participate in the implementation of Hyperion HFM ensuring an enhanced consolidation process.
• Perform consolidation accounting and analysis.
• Implement Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop skill set in the concepts of consolidations process and accounting. business combinations, eliminations, investment/equity, minority interest, equity income, and currency translation.
• Strong analytical skills needed to provide insightful analysis of financial statements from an accounting, finance and business performance perspective.
• Solid ability in using web tools and financial systems, understanding the design of financial systems and influencing intelligent configuration and functionality improvements that add value.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to foster creativity and use collaboration to continually enhance processes to meet the customer needs.
• Critical is strong organizational, analytical and communications skills. Knowledge of ERP systems implementation procedures is a big plus.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS required; CPA desired. Required is 5+ years of business experience in audit or financial reporting/consolidations. Hands on knowledge of SAP, J.D Edwards or Oracle is a plus. Multinational Fortune 500 manufacturing company heritage helps!!! Ability to analyze critical areas concerning business operations and relationship to impact on financial statements. Strong financial statement analysis skills, including understanding of SEC reporting requirements and US GAAP financial statements. Financial modeling skills and proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, OLAP, MS PowerPoint. Strong executive presence!! |
