| Position Responsibilities: |
Summary
The position will manage the corporate security program company-wide; will identify security initiatives and develop security standards. The position will oversee the organization’s entire security posture from a physical perspective and will work closely with the Chief Information Officer to insure adequate protection of the organization’s digital assets. This position will participate closely in related areas such as fraud prevention, fraud investigation and BSA/AML Administration.
Responsibilities
• Manage the development and implementation of an enterprise security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.
• Physical protection oversight will include asset protection, workplace violence prevention, physical access control systems and video surveillance.
• Information protection oversight will include ownership of the Customer Information Security Program monitoring key Information Technology “super users” and employee education and awareness
• Manage the implementation and oversight of the branch and line of business training programs on physical and information security and employee safety
• Direct and manage a comprehensive safety program for the assessing and monitoring of hazardous/unsafe activities. Chairs a company-wide Safety Committee and develops measures to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
• Manage the hiring, training and development of security personnel and oversee vendors who physically safeguard the company’s locations, assets, intellectual property, as well as the physical safety of employees

Requirements
• A strong working knowledge of Federal, State and local laws, including Bank Security Act provisions, all applicable safety laws, codes and regulations, including OSHA requirements.
• A solid understanding of information technology and information security
• Working knowledge of investigative techniques and the judicial process
• Ability to communicate security-related concepts
• Proven negotiation skills
• MS Windows based computer applications
• Minimum of 10 years experience in overseeing physical security in a banking environment
• Experience in interviewing techniques
• Bachelors Degree in law enforcement, business or security administration, criminology or other related field, or equivalent education and experience
• Professional certification desired (i.e. Certified Risk Professional (CRP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Services Security Professional (CFSSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP
