| Job Description: |
Development of GAAP accounting policies, development and coordination of implementation plans for new accounting standards, provide support to operating companies with regard to complex accounting issues on an as needed basis and participate in M&A activity. In addition, the position entails coordinating the global SOX compliance effort. Specifically it includes: reviewing risk assessments, developing and maintaining standardized key controls, consolidating and coordinating the overall SOX testing approach and process, review of deficiencies with management and the external auditors and providing training as necessary to the operating units to ensure compliance. |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Competencies/Skills: Highly motivated person with the ability to communicate well with all levels of management, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to manage external consultants including external auditors Knowledge: Technical U.S. GAAP with experience researching and implementing accounting standards including derivative accounting, purchase accounting, and fair value measurements. In depth knowledge of internal control policy and procedures including SOX 404 requirements. Education: Accounting BS degree, Certified Public Accountant preferred Experience: 3-5 years public accounting or 5-7 years public/private accounting mix |

Ability to relocate in the future for high exposure roles, potentially internationally. Big 4 or highly technical GAAP/Sox industy role. |
