Senior Cost Accountant-Manufacturing! Cost Accounting Growth, Growth, Growth !! This opportunity is with an outstanding and forward-thinking international manufacturing entity located in Western Illinois, less than 2 hours west of Chicago. The Senior Cost Accountant role is a very hands-on position that seeks an individual that thinks outside of the box and provides suggestions regarding cost-saving strategies and ways to improve processes. This role will be groomed to move into the Controller’s position. Responsibilities: • Perform analysis regarding Material, Labor and Overhead costs • Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts • Develop Executive-level overviews on Product Cost trends, key influences and provide benchmarking • Provide input into cost accounting techniques and methodologies which improve business insight and operational results • Work with existing team members to provide monthly forecasting and analytics associated with manufacturing costs • Provide decision-support analysis on issues affecting the Supply Chain and R&D • Assist Controller with month-end financial reporting responsibilities |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• BS in Accounting or Business Related field • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment - cost accounting experience required • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and effective communication skills • Must be a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and energetic environment • SAP or ERP experience is a plus ! This position requires solid attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a "go-getter, can-do" attitude. |
